The Aegean's Sailing Paradise: From Marmaris to the Hidden Bays of Hisarönü
This is an 8-day dream journey from the lively port of Marmaris to the most sheltered and tranquil waters of the Aegean, the Hisarönü Gulf, known as a "sailor's paradise." This route is built not on long voyages, but on anchoring in bays, each a jewel, and savoring the sea and nature.
On our journey, you will watch history from the magnificent castle at Bozukkale (Ancient Loryma), hear the story of one of the world's oldest glass wrecks in Serçe Harbor, experience a feast at the chic gourmet restaurants of Selimiye, and find peace in the authentic maritime town of Bozburun (the heart of gulet building, our core passion!). Aboard our safe and luxurious yachts, built with "Bluecruis Yachting"s 22 years of manufacturing expertise, you are invited to discover this most special corner of the Aegean.
Highlights of This Itinerary:
- Bozukkale (Loryma): Climb the ancient castle walls for the most magnificent view of the gulf.
- Hisarönü Gulf: Fjord-like, aquarium-clear bays like Bencik and Dirsekbükü, surrounded by pine trees.
- Selimiye & Bozburun: The chic style of Selimiye, the "gourmet capital" of the Aegean, and the tranquility of Bozburun, the authentic center of gulet craftsmanship.
- D Maris Bay & Dişlice Island: A luxury stop for world cuisine and the unique volcanic, "tooth-like" rock formations of Dişlice Island.
- Orhaniye & Kızkumu (Maiden's Sand): The place where the legend of "walking on water" was born.
Day by Day Itinerary
Day 1: Marmaris (Welcome)
Dalaman Airport (DLM) is 1 hour 15 minutes from Marmaris. Upon arrival, our team will meet you and escort you to the gulet we built with our 22 years of expertise. After introductions and a route briefing on the map, you can choose to stay in Marmaris Port for the first night. However, our recommendation is to anchor in a nearby tranquil bay and step straight into the peace of your holiday.
Day 2: Serçe Harbor & Bozukkale (Loryma)
After breakfast, we bid farewell to Marmaris and head to Serçe Harbor. We'll have lunch and a swim break in this wonderfully sheltered bay, famous for its ancient "Glass Wreck". For the evening, our destination is Bozukkale, named after its historic castle. Guests who wish can climb the walls of this ancient military outpost of Knidos and photograph the magnificent view.
Day 3: Dirsekbükü & Kocabahçe
After waking up to a stunning morning in Bozukkale, we depart for Dirsekbükü Bay, one of the most magnificent bays in the Hisarönü Gulf. We'll have lunch and a swim break in this area, which is fantastic for sailing. For dinner and overnight, we anchor in the even more sheltered silence of Kocabahçe Bay.
Day 4: Dişlice Island & Bencik (or D Maris Bay)
After breakfast, we anchor in the magnificent waters of Dişlice Island, famous for its unique volcanic rock formations. After lunch and a swim, we move to the fjord-like Bencik Bay for the night. Alternatively, if you wish to dine out at one of the world-class restaurants in D Maris Bay, we can (with prior reservation) stay there.
Day 5: Orhaniye (Maiden's Sand) & Selimiye
In the morning, we arrive at Orhaniye village, home to the legendary "Kızkumu" (Maiden's Sand) beach where you can seemingly walk on water. After a pleasant break, we depart for Selimiye, one of the most beautiful villages in Hisarönü. We can either spend the night in the harbor to explore this chic village or anchor in a beautiful bay near Selimiye for dinner.
Day 6: Ada Boğazı & Bozburun
After a quiet breakfast in Selimiye, we head to Ada Boğazı, known as the "natural aquarium" of the Hisarönü Gulf. After lunch and enjoying the sea, we take a short walk in the authentic village of Bozburun, the center of gulet building. For dinner, we can stay in Bozburun Port or in a quiet bay nearby, as you wish.
Day 7: Kadırga Bay & Paradise Island
Departure from Bozburun after breakfast. On our way back to Marmaris, we'll anchor in Kadırga Bay, famous for its clear waters, for lunch and a swim. We then anchor for our last night at Paradise Island, very close to Marmaris. If guests prefer, we can also enter Marmaris Port for a final dinner ashore; the choice is yours.
Day 8: Marmaris (Farewell)
After a final Aegean breakfast at Paradise Island or in Marmaris Port, it is time to disembark by 10:00. We bid you farewell with unforgettable memories.
